It was nice to meet this couple on the weekend, as I’ll be photographing their wedding next summer. They were so fun and easy going, and dealt with the crazy wind with grace! Enjoy the sneak peek guys. Thanks for making the long drive down!

Lately I’ve been noticing a lot of people using their PMP images for their facebook profile picture. I just wanted to give a friendly reminder that if you do use one of my images for your profile pic, or in an album on your page, that you would kindly give me a photo credit beneath. I don’t mind that you use the images, just that you would mention the studio name somewhere in there.
Thanks! And I’m glad that people are liking their pics enough to want to use them on facebook!
On Saturday I got to photograph my first girl grad of the year. I love that she wore this brilliant blue color. With the yellow of the fall leaves, it reminded me of the Swedish flag! I lived in Sweden for six months attending Bible school, so I have a soft spot for that fabulous country :) Oops. Back to the pictures! Many of you from around this area will recognize this girl. She’s an incredible figure skater, and I’ve had the pleasure of photographing her and her sister for years with their skating club. Thanks for spending a windy afternoon with me!

On friday night I had another family session in Wolseley. After doing a few shots in some of the places that we had discussed, the son told us he knew of a great location that we should try. After a little hike past some old outhouses, and squeezing ourselves and the chair through 1o feet of thick bush and barbed wire, we made it, and it was fantastic! So thanks for leading us to our mystery location!

This year my local grad class is pretty much ALL boys! I’ve photographed 3 guys so far. One brought his truck, one brought his skates, and the other brought his girlfriend! The last two images are from the first couple guys who came, so they’ve already seen all their images, but I hadn’t gotten to blogging them. So these are for everyone else’s viewing pleasure. This first guy hasn’t seen his full gallery yet, so this is your sneak peek Landon

For anyone who follows the blog, you’ll probably remember this image. I had a great time photographing this girl when she was expecting, and today I got to travel to the beautriful city of Weyburn to capture some sweet moments with the new Mr. D. He was WIDE awake when I arrived, and was in a super mood. He was very cooperative, and mommy even mangaged to get him to sleep for a few minutes, so we could snap a few without the arms and legs flying around!
As we were talking, and hanging out in this little guy’s room, his mom told me that her husband’s mom was the author of the children’s book, A Prairie Alphabet. I’m sure anyone with young kids, living in Saskatchewan, has heard of this fabulous book. Jo Bannatyne-Cugnet is the author and Yvette Moore is the illustrator. This is one lucky little man to have such a great storyteller for a Grandma (and his parent’s are pretty awesome people too by the way!)
I had a fun, relaxing day shooting this wedding. I’ve done the bride’s brother’s wedding, as well as her sister’s grad pictures. It was nice to be shooting a crew that I already knew. Even the bride’s brother’s girlfriend was a grad student I photographed a few years back. Aside from a bit of wind, we had terrific weather, and no kinks of any kind! Hope your reception was a blast

These two brothers were so adorable. The little guy was so in love with his big brother. Just look at that nuzzle! He did that quite a few times during the shoot, and big brother was so cuddly with him too… when he was still
As the mom of a two year old boy, I know that kids, boys in particular, do not like staying in one spot for long. He did awesome, and we even got him to stay put for 1 whole second to get that eyelash shot.

When I woke up Casey from his nap today, he had the craziest hair ever! My first thought was “Nick Nolte mug shot!!” I ran downstairs to grab my camera, and by the time I got back up, his hair had flattened substantially, but I still thought the resemblance was pretty similar! If only I had dressed him in his goofy hawaiian shirt today.
