I’m thankful for a helpful, supportive husband, that loves me even when I’m being unlovable. I’m thankful for healthy, growing kids that have never known what it’s like to go hungry. I’m thankful for my Christian Mennonite heritage. I’m thankful that I have a brother that has safely travelled the world over, and has decorated my house with his gifts I’m thankful that my parent’s have retired to the most perfect place on earth, and I get to go and see them often.

I’m grateful that I get to wake up every morning, not dreading my job. I’m happy to be blessed with not a large group of friends, but a few terrific friends. I am blessed with good health for myself, and my family. I am lucky enough to live in a country that is not at war. I feel honored to have been welcomed into this community of Grenfell for the past decade, and have been supported in my business by my friends and clients.

I feel ashamed that I sometimes have a complaining heart.

I regret every time I say something negative about another human being.

I hope that I will someday grow into the woman that God sees me to be.

I wish that I could protect my kids from every pain.

God is good, and has given me more than I could ever repay. I am humbled by his grace and mercy.
