So I posted a big sappy bit about my cousin and her family, and how much I love them, just a few days ago. Now I’m sitting here with this family’s pictures infront of me, and I’ve just got a big fat grin on my face. These guys are pretty special to me too, though they’re not family. I got to know their mom a few years after I moved to Grenfell, and she’s been such a great friend to me. Like I said in my Thanksgiving post, I don’t have a huge group of friends. I don’t go out much, and I don’t do much “Girl’s night” type of stuff. As far as girlfriends go though, Carla is the best! She’s the person who is willing to volunteer for anything, and help you out with your kids, and be the one to drive to hockey, ball, whatever. She is a wonderfully giving person, and I’m glad to have her in my life. And her kids are so much fun. They are lively, happy, crazy, and have huge personalities. Oh, and her hubby’s alright too ;) If you ever want to go shoot a moose (or duck, or deer, or gopher, or bear, or antelope, or elk, or goose or…….) he’ll be in there like a dirty shirt
Whew. That was a really long intro. Here’s a shot I tried, but can’t say I really mastered. I wanted to try a jumping shot in the studio. It’s o.k. for a first try, but I have plans to make it work better next time. I thought it was fun enough to post though!

Tatum, you are way too kind. You are a pretty wonderful person yourself and I am so lucky to have you too.
I love the pictures, thank you so much for the preview. I have been anxiously checking your blog since you took them and I can’t wait to see the rest. The last one is my favorite so far..
The jumping shot isn’t that bad Tatum. It shows how much fun those kids are. I love Ben’s face in it! You are definatly right about the family too!
