A new location

Yesterday I had a late comer grad student. I had been full the day of his grad, so we had to bump the session into the summer. No problems. Stress of grad is over, no schedule to try and squeeze into. I wanted to try something different with him, so I called and asked if I could use our local museum. They were o.k. with it, so I had one of the ladies come open it up for us. It was pretty fun! Thanks mom for being a great reflector holder. :)

Summer love

Saturday was a great day. The weather was great, the couple was wonderful, and I was feeling on my game. I was really looking forward to this wedding. The got married in a cute little church out in the country. I don’t know the history of it, but it’s called the Bekevar Church.  Anyway, with such a gorgeous couple, I got tons of keepers. I hope you guys enjoy this quick sneak peek.  I’ll get the rest up a.s.a.p.  Hope the rest of your night was awesome!

The bride works for a newspaper, so she’s quite comfortable behind the camera. I thought it was a cute shot to include, considering her profession. :)

Family Reunion

It’s really cool to look at a couple who have been together many years, and see the love bonds that have come about, because they got married. My cousin has a quote on a plaque in her house. It says “All because two people fell in love”.  I think that’s an awesome way to put it. Because these two fell in love, they’ve been witness to their own children’s lives, and now the lives of all their grandkids and great grandkids. I’ve known alot of members of this family for years, and have photographed reunions on their spouses sides, as well as many grads. They’re terrific people, and I enjoyed getting to see them again. I’m pretty sure this is year 50 for Mr. and Mrs. Schmidt, so congratulations!!  :)

Wolseley Grad – finally!

It’s been a super busy week, and I hadn’t gottne to posting the Wolseley grad class from last friday yet. Now that I have all their galleries uploaded for them, this isn’t so much of a preview. So I figured I’d post a few fun shots that I got with some of the families. Brothers on a tricycle (it’s sort of a family tradition now with the Englot boys), a hillbilly family, some big kisses, a class on the rocks, and then some pretty girls to even it all out.  Thanks for the fun day everyone. You were all great!  I also would like to say thanks to my girlfriend Lindsay for helping me out. You can find her on facebook under Lilyfield Photography.

Have a great summer, and best of luck in the fall!!
