Well, a season has come to a close. This was my last wedding of 2009, and it was awesome. I was a little worried in the morning when the bride called at 7:30 a.m. to say that there was still a foot of snow on the ground. In a bigger town, I might have been able to scope out some locations that would be usable. Langbank, as anyone who has been there knows, is pretty little. Well, that’s an understatement. Langbank has 3 streets in town, none of which are paved from what I could tell. The mud was thick and the streets were a slushy mess! I love my rural weddings, and this is a cute little town, but the possibilities of shooting outside in that type of weather would have been incredibly limiting! Luckily the snow all melted off by later afternoon, and the sun shone! We went a mile out of town to an old stone church an shot everything in the yard. The wedding party was fun, the couple was fun and the day was fun. It was an great way to end the year’s wedding spree. Congratulations you guys!!
