A very busy saturday

I had a full day on saturday with two families (including a 1 month old, a 4 month old, a 4 year old and a pug!) and a couple of girls who wanted a friend session. I can’t believe all the babies I’ve had in lately! I don’t normally get alot of babies in the studio, other than newborns. It was a fun challenge, and they were all so well behaved! Enjoy the preview everyone. :)

Friday afternoon

This was the second of two sessions on friday. And another reoccuring couple! I photographed this girl’s grad as well, and they were a couple already back then too!  They brought their pup along, and she got in on a few pics. She matches the dry grass so well.  :)

Sweetness

I was so happy to be able to photograph this family. This is the third time they’ve been here (grad, engagement, and now family), and they’re just awesome people. Their little girl was a doll, and she eventually gave us some big, straight from the heart, smiles.

A new post, finally!

Yes, I’m a little behind on blog posts. I have been on a mad shooting frenzy for the past week, and am now trying to get some previews up for everyone! This session was a week ago already, and I really apologize for the long wait.

We attempted to do a few outdoor shots, but it was just too cold and windy, so we moved back inside. Though little miss wasn’t too keen on smiling for me, she eventually warmed up and we got a few little smirks.  And though the individuals I posted of her, the smiles are smaller, I did get a couple big ones too!

Engaged!

This couple is one of my weddings for next summer. They were super sweet, and she even gave me a big hug after we were all done. :)   Thanks guys for coming down, and for booking with me for next year. We’ll have a blast.

Storytelling with sand

If you have 8 minutes today to spend watching this video clip, you will not be dissapointed. I have a good friend that sends me interesting clips all the time, and he e-mailed me this video tonight. This woman won the Ukraine’s version of America’s Got Talent. It is such a breathtaking artistic creation. She tells the story, through sand drawings, of the 1945 invasion of the Ukraine by the Germans in World War II.

Moosomin – Grad sessions

On friday I headed out, in a snowy blizzard, to Moosomin to photograph a bunch of grad students. I was thinking it was going to be a terrible day for weather, but just after going through Broadview, the skies cleared, and by the time I got to my destination, it was blue & sunny!

I had a lot of fun doing these sessions in a totally new and unfamiliar location. It was a cool challenge to just run around town and find a few choice locations, then just go for it all day long. Thanks for contacting me girls. I had an awesome day with you all! Hope you were able to warm up with your hot chocolate. :) Even though is was sunny and blue, it’s still the end of October, and it was still COLD!!

Studio again!

A few years back, I photographed this couple’s wedding, so it was neat to see them with their family all grown and expanded. Now that the weather is changing and the light is going away so quickly, the studio is once again being used. I know the last post was on the white background too, but it’s just so nice to shoot on. I like it’s simple clean look. Plus, you can have any color clothing, and it works!
