On January 1st, I photographed an incredibly chilly wedding to start off the 2010 season. At -30 plus windchill, we only did a handful of outdoor shots. It was impossibly cold, and I’m sure the wedding party was cursing me by the end of it! I’m so glad that you all went along with it though, because you all looked amazing in your wraps! We ended up back at the studio very shortly, and did some shots against my new red kitchen walls! I think they turned out pretty cool.
Because it’s been such a long time between posts for the last little while, I’m going to do quite a few shots from this wedding. The bride is owner of Buds & Blossoms in Regina, Sk. (on Dewdney, near the Pasque hospital), so the flowers were absolutely incredible at the reception. More to come on that in a day or two. For now, here’s a snippet of what we got accomplished that day.

WOW! If your -30 is anything like our -30…then these guys did an amazing job of not looking the way that I would normally feel in such conditions (pictures of me in that type of cold usually include growling and cursing of some kind!)! Did you lure them with Starbucks?!?!
Tatum… these are remarkable! I think you have done such a fabulous job. You work well in the deep freeze. Love them, they will look amazing blown up! WOW
