Vintage heaven

I had so much fun shooting this session, and I’m having just as much fun editing them. I love this girl’s style and look, and she was oh so photogenic.  I adore doing vintage-y type looking images, so her outfit lent itself to that very well. Here’s just a few that I had to narrow down to.

Little brother

I’ve photographed this little guy’s older sisters a number of times, and today I got to put him in front of the camera. He wasn’t all smiles at first, but I eventually squeezed a few out.  :)

So glad I caught this shot above.  I had been propping him up on the arm of the chair with my foot while I was shooting (and at the same time also making stupid noises, and playing peek-a-boo and tickling him with my toes. Whew!). Once I took my foot away, he quickly flopped down, and looked completely exhausted!

Grad

Like I mentioned before, I’m all out of intelligent titles for these posts, so I’ve moved on to just putting the title as the category!  I photographed this girl’s older sister last year when she graduated, so now this time, the younger  is in the spotlight.  :)

Mommy to be

This family came out from Regina to do a maternity/family session together. I love that so many people bring their Rider gear!

Grad guy

I’m running out of ideas for titles of posts, so I think I’m going to go for just typing in the category – ex: Grads.  It’s stressful trying to come up with something clever every time!

I like when grad students bring along props or things that they’re interested in. This guy likes Steven Colbert, so we incorporated his book in a few shots.

And this ↓ is what we were going for!

Oh baby

I love this little chicky’s teeth! So cute. I could have put another dozen shots on here, but this is what I chose for a couple favorites….

Music stuff – Ingrid Michaelson

I just heard about this girl, and I instantly fell in love with her music. It’s so upbeat and refreshing!  She’s got a myspace page if you want to check it out.    http://www.myspace.com/ingridmichaelson

And a video.  Maybe she’s already quite well known and I just found out about her, but whatever. She’s great! So I’ll share if you haven’t heard of her yet.

Spunky!

This little cutie was a flower girl in a wedding I did a few years ago, and I had thought then that she was a really quiet kid. I was wrong! She was so much fun, and full of energy. Mom and dad let her and I fool around, and goof off for about an hour, and we came away with some cute shots. Here you go Ms. M!

More grad stuff

Friday afternoon I photographed another grad student. Last year she was an escort for another student I had photographed, but now it’s her turn.  :)

Three gorgeous girls

Another fun afternoon yesterday with some grad girls from a couple surrounding towns.   If you come at the same time as someone else, this is what you may end up doing when you’re not in the spotlight….
