I love photographing people, but I also like creating images that don’t involve clients!  I’ve tried to make a habit of getting out and shooting just for the fun of it, and for the purpose of creating art.  I’ve finally accumulated enough images that I decided I might try setting up an etsy site.  I’m super excited about this new venture!

For those of you who have never heard of etsy, it’s an online community of artists, selling their work.  There’s handmade jewelry, photography, clothing, home decor, upscaled items and more. I’ve become a bit of a junkie over the past few years, and much prefer it to ebay. It’s nice to know the stories behind the stuff you buy, and also you know it wasn’t made by child labourers, or in a huge factory.  My personal collection includes a scarf from the Netherlands, a bracelet from Africa, and an anklet from Thailand, just to name a few!

I have artwork all over my home. Many images are my own, and many are picked up at festivals, travels or are gifts from my parents and brother, who are world travellers.  I barely have a wall to hang anything else on, so I figured, since my walls can’t play host to all the images I’ve created, I may as well try to share them.  Here’s the link to my etsy site….
